Responsible Sourcing

A responsible supply chain free of conflict material is very important to us. Therefore, we purchase our Tantalum only from companies that are listed by the RMI (Responsible Minerals Initiative) as conform smelters. The RMI standards meet the requirements of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance and the Regulation (EU) 2017/821 of the European Parliament as well as the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

Tantec is also a member of the Tantalum-Niobium International Study Center (TIC), which is committed to responsible and transparent supply chains.

Point of contact for compliance violation

We have introduced a complaints procedure so that human rights or environmental risks or violations in our own supply chain can be reported.

Regardless of whether a report is submitted anonymously or not we naturally treat every report received confidentially and do not tolerate any discrimination or consequences for people who make a report in good faith (i.e. not for improper purposes).

All data transmitted to us as part of a notification will be treated confidentially and will only be stored and used for the purpose of investigating a possible violation within the framework of the applicable legal regulations.

Corresponding reports can be sent directly by e-mail to the Tantec GmbH Compliance Office (compliance@tantalus-holding.com). In addition, reports can be sent by post to Tantec GmbH, Compliance Office, Tantalstr. 1 – 3, 63571 Gelnhausen.

We ask for your understanding that our complaints procedure may only be used for the topics listed above. General complaints, product inquiries or other concerns are not processed here.
